Frequency: Moderate Description: We have received reports that some slot-based additional service prices are showing appropriately in the cart but once payment is collected the price of the service converts to $0.00 and leaves the invoice open with an overpaid amount. This issue occurs after customers are being charged for the correct amount. All reported cases are within the date range of 10/30 - 10/31. While the invoice and revenue report shows the line items at a $0.00 value, the commission report is accurately reporting the commission owed to specialists. Our team has identified the source of the issue. These invoices can be found from the left-hand navigation: Point of Sale > View Open Invoices and will appear as overpaid. If you have an impacted invoice, then please reach out to our support team to have it adjusted. Example: I have sporadically noticed that some slot-based appointments are showing as open invoices and, when I view the invoice, I can see that the service prices are showing 00.00. The invoice also displays as overpaid by the exact cost of the services that are now 00.00. When looking at my commission report and reservation details pages, I can see the service price displays correctly.

At approximately 9:26 pm MDT, our development team completed an application update containing the following items (note that high priority issues which were independently listed on our status page are not listed here). If you are experiencing an issue, then reach out to our support team. - Fixed an issue where items assigned to multiple customers could exist in the shopping cart at the same time. - Added styling to store credit, open invoice balance, and owner name titles in the cart to make them more prominent. - Made a change so that store credit, when available, will show at the top of the payment method list when using it as a payment method and added the available credit amount to the payment method description. - Added protection to the “add payment method” button in the shopping cart to help prevent invoices from having incorrect payments. - Fixed an issue where, when trying to use more store credit than available, and also using a card on file to process a split payment, the customer could be overcharged. - Made a change so that owners can only be assigned from the shopping cart to streamline and simplify the owner assignment process. - Fixed an issue that would allow the user to add the same invoice balance to the cart multiple times, putting the customer at risk of being overcharged. - Added protection to the shopping cart to lock the cart to the assigned owner once store credit is added to the cart, requiring the cart to be cleared in order to change the owner to prevent incorrect charges. - Added protection to the shopping cart to lock the cart to the assigned owner once an owner is selected in the cart, requiring the cart to be cleared in order to change the owner to prevent incorrect charges. - Fixed an issue where the tips report would show sections for “Non-Credit Card Tips” and “Credit Card Tips” instead of “Invoice Line Item Tips”. - Fixed a formatting issue with the tips report PDF which would cause some information to be cut off. - Adjusted the verbiage of the “back” and “cancel” buttons in the shopping cart workflow to make navigation more straightforward. - Added protection to the shopping cart to check if a purchase requires an owner to be assigned before payments can be applied. - Fixed an issue where the sales tax report would not include detailed tax information. - Fixed an issue where the user could add an open line item tip to the cart without payment which could cause that unpaid tip to show as an estimate on the tips report. - Fixed an issue with group permissions where a user could access the end of day report for the current date if the “can view end of day report” user permission was disabled for that user’s account.

Frequency: Low Description: If checking out multiple pets in the same family using the package credit quick checkout, the package credit will be redeemed against another pet in the family from the one selected if the family's reservations meet the following requirements: the pets must be checked in for different reservation types, the reservation which is redeeming the package credit must be of a greater value than the other pet's, and the pets must be checked out at the same time. This causes the other pet to be checked out, instead of the one selected. This causes the invoice to be discounted more than what was charged, which can cause a discrepancy in charge reporting. Example: I have a two-pet family checked in. One pet is here for training and the other is here for daycare. When checking out, I choose to quick check out the training pet using the training package credit on their account. Gingr asks me if I want to check out both pets at the same time and I click "yes". I receive a message that the balance is greater than the package credit discount and that I must proceed to the cart to complete checkout, but then I also receive another message saying that checkout was completed. Upon closer inspection, I notice that the second pet in the family (the cheaper reservation that I did not select to check out with a package credit) is checked out and the package credit is applied to that pet's reservation. I also see that this over-discounted invoice can cause my reporting to show a discrepancy between charges because the invoice was over-discounted. I find that there is no issue if I check the pets out separately.
