At approximately 8:45 pm MT, our development team completed an application update containing the following items (note that high priority issues which were independently listed on our status page are not listed here). If you are experiencing an issue, then reach out to our support team.

Bug Fixes: -Refactored the edit service window that is found when you edit a service from the dashboard, facility calendar, reservation details page, services by date report, etc. This refactor resolves several issues with this component, including service notes not saving and appointments not rescheduling when edited from this window. -Resolved an issue where if an animal had an expected reservation for today and a user performed a quick-check in on the same animal, the system would check in the expected reservation, but would set the end date to today. Resolved an issue where cancelling a reservation through the “Conflicting Reservation” pop up message would not properly close out the cancelled reservations invoice. -Resolved an issue where cancelling one or more pets off of a multi-pet reservation where one of the pets had services could improperly move the reservation and it’s services to their own invoice, leaving a blank estimate. -Resolved an issue where the daily Team Scheduled hours total was incorrectly summing when the Manage Schedules page was grouped by Team.

New Features/Improvements: -Added a payment method setting in Admin » Payment Methods to allow you to protect certain payment methods based on group permission. Only users with the Left-hand Navigation: Reports and More » Groups permission for Can Check Out With Protected Payment Methods will be able to use any of your protected payment methods. All payment methods will be unprotected by default, and all user groups will have permission to use protected payment methods by default. -Added a Left-hand Navigation: Reports and More » Groups permission for Can Check Out Without Payment to limit users’ ability to checkout a reservation without payment. All user groups will have this permission enabled by default. -Updated the Left-hand Navigation: Point of Sale » View Closed Invoices page to add a Location drop down. By default, users will now see just the closed invoices for their current location, with the option to view other locations’ invoices if you have the permission to change locations. -Added a reservation type setting to Admin » Immunization Types so that you can selectively require immunizations only for some reservation types and not others. For example, if you only require immunizations for daycare and boarding, but not grooming appointments, you can specify that on the admin page and the system will only prompt you that a pet has expired or missing immunizations if they are making/checking in for a reservation of the required type. If you require immunizations for every reservation type, you do not need to make any changes to your setup. -Updated the reservation/appointment request system so that if a pet is missing some of their immunization records, but not all, the system will properly give them an error upon reservation submission if the app is configured to do so. -Added support for owner/pet-parent icons. There are a few system icons that previously lived on the pet’s account that will now show up under the owner and for which you can configure separate pop-up alerts. These include the Account Balance, Package Credits, Credit Card On File, and Agreements icons. These can now be customized in Admin » Owner Icons, and you can additionally add new Custom Owner Icons that can be attached to the owner rather than their pet(s). We’ve also added a Copy Tool to the Admin » Animal Icons » Custom Animal Icons page so that you can copy over any templates that you would like to use as owner Icons. -Added a new report in Left-hand Navigation: Reports and More Icon » Reports called the Icon Comparison Report. This report can be used to compare icons between Animals and Owners, and can help you migrate any icons from the animal over to the owner right from the report. -Added a toolbox option to Admin » Owner Form so that you can add Custom Owner Icons from the New Record or Edit Owner page. Important: This field is not automatically added to the form, so if you’d like to enable this, make sure that you configure the field to only be visible to Employees, otherwise customers would be able to see your custom icons on the Customer Portal. -Added a refresh to the shopping cart if a user had two tabs open on the same browser, each containing a different reservation and checkouts were happening concurrently so that the cart is refreshed before users can pull up the payment window to take payment. -Added a layer of validation to the app to ensure that only one owner’s balance can be checked out at a time. -Database security + display improvements.
