Gingr Notifications App Notification Delivery Issue

Resolved
Resolved

This issue is now resolved. Thanks for your patience.

Additional details: Gingr has just released an update of the Gingr Notifications app to the Apple App Store that resolves this issue. After updating the app from the App Store, you'll be prompted to log-in and approve push notifications once again. After that, your device will start receiving push notifications from Gingr once again.

Our development team has identified the cause of the issue and is working to upgrade the Gingr Notifications app to allow for successful delivery of notifications to the Notification Center of your iOS device.

Description: Due to a change in the delivery method for push notifications on newer versions of iOS, customers using the Gingr Notifications app on iOS devices may not receive push notifications to the Notification Center of their device.

Example: I have the Gingr Notifications app installed on my iPhone and I noticed that after I updated my phone to iOS 13, I stopped receiving notifications on the lock screen of my iPhone. However, I can still open the app itself and see my notifications. My coworker has an Android phone and does not experience the same issue.
