Description: When consuming store credit on an account by using store credit as a payment method at checkout, if that store credit payment date is then backdated to a previous date, the store credit payment method will incorrectly default to a different payment method. Saving the backdated payment with the different payment method will add the store credit back to the customer's account.
Example: A client had some store credit on their account that they used towards their dog's reservation that checked out yesterday. We forgot to check the dog out until today so after checking out the reservation and paying for it with the client's store credit, we went to the invoice and backdated the payment. I noticed that when I went to edit the payment and backdate it, the pop-up window showed the payment method as a different payment method other than store credit and that store credit was not selectable. When I saved, the payment method was no longer store credit and the customer's store credit was added back.
